We are Made for Their Weekends

Ladies:

We are made for their weekends

In us they seek to stretch themselves
After week days of labor

A few pennies on sandwich and coffee
A hearty lunch or dinner
If generous enough,

Spiced with lavish compliments:
They know what we like to hear

Here our hands are grabbed,
On arms, thick fingers begin to roll

A ‘NO’ they find

Quite an unpleasant return

Ah! Are we ungrateful?
