The Unwelcome Kiss

It just came like a blow of wind
You were caught unawares;
Dust you can get rid of
Lust how to wipe

Don’t liken the cheek to surface—

The passive recipient of stuff
Thrown at someone’s whim

But it’s something that can’t be fenced
Still reserved for him

Cheeks now begin to grumble;
They had heard the heart saying:
Gentle love would leave its mark
With natural blush and shine

The sole hope is on lips now
That are safer I surmise.
