The Bird With Her Own Sky

I’m a bird with large large wings

The bird that never was in a cage

But has her own sky

And never been out of it;

Other birds jovially pass by her

Brushing against her soft feathers

Inviting her to their own abode

Which they say is full of fun

They cast their feathers and go wild

As far as they can roam about the sky

Forgetting by the end of the day

The fellows

They had hugged during flights;

But she refuses to accompany them

Finding comfort in her fenced sky.
